One Direction Not Affected By Fame

One Direction claim their success is down to the fact they are still the same "immature" boys they were before they became famous.

One Direction insist fame hasn't changed them.
The 'Live While We're Young' hitmakers claim they are so successful because they are just normal guys and are truly the best of friends.
Newly single Liam Payne, 19, said: "For us, the main thing is we've just been ourselves. Lots of people get into our situation and you hear that they've changed. We've just stayed as ourselves.

"There's a lot of things the fans don't know about us. People still ask whether we really get on or not - and we genuinely do. A lot of people don't believe that."The boys - who were put together on Simon Cowell's talent show 'The X Factor' UK in 2010 - think they have broken the mould of what boy bands are supposed to be like by acting their age and not being afraid to look "stupid".

Louis Tomlinson, 20, added in an interview with Wonderland magazine "I think previous boy bands felt they had to meet a stereotype. We're just ourselves - stupid, immature and quirky."
One Direction - also comprised of Zayn Malik, 19, Harry Styles, 18, and 19-year-old Niall Horan - are being forced to embark on a gruelling fitness regime ahead of their eight-month run of shows kicking off in December.

What makes me feel Beautiful!

Well, it might seem to be a simple song but it's more than that. Every time I listen to them, my heart jumps. Their smile brightens up the moment and their voice inspires me. However, I may not be the biggest fan of theirs, I still do support them for the way they are. I love their songs more than them cause it makes me feel proud of being a girl. I like them and love their songs. For those who don;t support them in anyway, I don't know what to say...

One Direction's Arrival!!

One Direction are an English boy band formed in London in 2010, consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
They signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after being formed and placing third in the seventh series of British television music competition The X Factor. They subsequently signed in North America with Columbia Records.

One Direction have been described as sparking a resurgence in the boy band concept, and of forming part of a new "British Invasion" in the United States. Generating millions in combined music, merchandising and touring sales, as of June 2012, according to Nick Gatfield, the chairman and chief executive of Sony Music Entertainment UK, One Direction represent an US$50 million business empire. By August 2012, One Direction have sold 12 million records. Their achievements include a BRIT Award and 3 MTV Video Music Awards. The Huffington Post proclaimed 2012 "The Year of One Direction".
